Private households

A considerable amount of data about the living situation of people in Austria can only be gathered with the population’s help. The following surveys apply to private households and private non-profit institutions (as for the R&D survey):

• Microcensus (“Mikrozensus”)
• EU-SILC
• Holiday and business trips (“Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisen”)
• Energy consumption in households (biennial survey: 2009/2010, 2011/2012, etc.)
• R&D in private non-profit organizations and other non-public sectors (“F&E im privaten gemeinnützigen Bereich sowie im sonstigen nichtstaatlichen Bereich“)
• PIAAC
