Current annual results

A total of 77 199 people died in Austria in 2010; Cardiovascular diseases (43%) and cancer (26%) caused seven death in ten in 2010. The remainder were distributed between diseases of the respiratory organs (5%) and of the digestive organs (4%), other diseases (16%) and unnatural causes of death (injuries and poisonings; 5%).
