Reporting Obligations

In 2010 a total of 47 700 enterprises, out of almost 396 000 enterprises, had to report data for one or more compulsory surveys conducted by Statistics Austria. Compared to the situation in 2009, the number of enterprises with reporting obligations decreased by 2 420 enterprises.

In 2010, 57.6 per cent of these enterprises had reporting obligations for one survey only, 27.9 per cent for two and 14.5 per cent for three or more surveys. The maximum number of reporting obligations was nine, but this was valid for only 5 enterprises. The total number of enterprises with reporting obligations was 12.1 per cent of all active enterprises.
